Holistic Counselling Support
A Gentle, Integrative Approach
Alongside my core counselling work, I offer additional supportive approaches that may be helpful if you are experiencing stress, overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection. You don’t need to have clarity about what you’re experiencing — curiosity, uncertainty, or simply wanting support is enough.
These supports are offered within a counselling framework and are designed to gently support emotional awareness, self-connection, and a sense of steadiness. This work is trauma-informed, collaboratively paced, and grounded in safety, choice, and compassion.
Trauma-Informed Counselling
My counselling approach is trauma-informed, meaning sessions prioritise safety, boundaries, choice, and pacing.
This work supports individuals in exploring the impact of past experiences with care and sensitivity, without pressure to revisit or relive anything before you are ready.
The focus is on supporting emotional steadiness, self-trust, and a sense of control within the counselling process.
Stress, Burnout & Emotional Regulation
Counselling support for navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, and periods of sustained pressure.
Sessions may include gentle exploration of stress responses, coping patterns, and ways of responding to challenges with greater awareness and care.
This support can be particularly helpful during periods of burnout, life transition, or ongoing stress.
Mindfulness & Grounding Sessions
Mindfulness and grounding practices may be gently introduced within counselling sessions where helpful, or offered as supportive sessions focused on grounding, presence, and self-awareness rather than therapeutic processing.
These practices are used to support awareness and a sense of steadiness, and are always adapted to your comfort level.
Examples may include:
Gentle grounding exercises
Mindfulness practices
Reflective journalling
Simple awareness techniques
No prior experience is needed, and all practices are optional and guided at a pace that feels right for you.
This work is not about forcing change, but about creating safety, awareness, and space for regulation and self-understanding to unfold naturally.
